You like to eat? you generate a little bit of waste? you would like to use what you have more efficiently? Wishing for a more comfortable home without turning on the air-con?
A Permaculture course can give you lots of ideas.
This will be a fun full day of ideas and practical solutions and then application with a mini-practice design.
Learn the art of Permaculture design with designer, creator, artist and international permaculture teacher April Sampson-Kelly on her mature demonstration property: a food forest integrated within a buzzing community.
We will start the Introductory Day at our permaculture site [Silk Farm], have lunch together, then pop over to a local site to put our new found skills to the test and do a permaculture concept draft plan for their site.
Your chance to learn what Permaculture is about and how it will help your lifestyle and a healthier environment.
Find out how a bit of ethics and design can reduce the amount of work you need to put in to make your lifestyle more abundant and productive.
This Introductory module is also part of our full Permaculture Design course, should you wish to continue on.
We will introduce four topics: Ethics and Natural Systems and Design, Recycling and Cultivated Ecology.
We will be looking at how natural systems are resilient, how they work and how we design to use natural energy to reduce our own work and stress load.
In this module we will explore lots of options and do a quick design for a simple permaculture system for your family needs. Read more detail about this module here
