Permaculture has strong ethical roots and from this flow a wide range of principles we can use. The two basic tenets are Care of People and Care of The Earth. To ensure this is in balance we use the principle of fair share between the two.  We recognise that we are dependent on the Earth’s resources and we endeavor to develop a lifestyle that enables us to use tools and resources that will not pollute the earth when we are finished with them and help us to leave the environment is healthy state for following generations.

“The only ethical decision is to take responsibility
for our own existence and that of our children.” Mollison
